We’re seeking passionate individuals who resonate with our mission of providing healthy food and uphold our values of mutual support and self-management. Whether you have a few hours or a few days to spare each month, your involvement is valued and appreciated.

Make a Donation
Donations are critical to support our mission of healthy food for all. Your contributions provide access to healthy and affordable food for people in the Edmonton, Alberta area who are struggling to make ends meet. With your generous support we can expand access to even more Albertans!

Start a Depot
Establishing a depot is an excellent way to uplift your neighbourhood and create positive change. WECAN’s core values of mutual support and self-management foster a culture where members rely on each other through active participation in the organization.
As a member-volunteer or representative of a partner organization, you will be responsible for coordinating with society staff, finding a suitable location, and managing depot operations.
If you are a member-volunteer, you will also need to recruit and manage a team of member-volunteers to help with sorting and distributing food. If you are a representative of a partner organization, you can rely on your own staff and volunteers, however we ask that you provide opportunities for members to participate in operations.
